Knowledge is power
Dylan Thomas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Harry Secombe, the K9 lifegaurd that is Swansea Jack, a devil called Nick, Shane Sinclair and General Bob Slipon Zod were all born here, it was home to the first ever passenger train in the world and was once known as the 'Copper Capital' of the world which is probably why our friends in the Luftwaffe obliterated it during WW2 and helped make Swansea the place it is today.

To find out more about the history and culture of Swansea and also learn how to get here from places such as Bude, La Rochelle and Mars, click on the links to the left and below.

As you will soon realise, not all the links are working as I just cant get the staff so if you want to help by sending I some contributions then great but if you just want to bathe in a sea of laverbread and wait for them to be completed then that is also acceptable.

If you have any comments on any of the items here please email or leave a message on the board. Thanks to all who have voluntery (and involuntery) contributed to these pages. The crows that live in your gardens will be proud!.
